Intra-Lockdowns we have been gathering-together but we’re very disappointed to say that, once again, we’ve had to stop our regular physical meetings during Lockdown #2.

At present we’re holding the following meetings:

  • Sunday 09:30 a.m. – a ‘Premier’ prerecorded celebration published via our YouTube channel;  this remains available after it’s ‘Premier’ showing.
  • Sunday 10:30 a.m. – a coffee-time Zoom for those who wish to have a chat (please contact the church office for access details).
  • Alternate Sundays 4:00 p.m. – Familes @4 on Zoom. – a fortnightly family worship, on Zoom, aimed at Primary age children.  This will be shortened version of the main service for families to join in with together.  Please contact Hannah (or email the church office) for the link if you haven’t got it.
  • Alternate Sundays 5:30 p.m. – Sunday Youth Zoom – meeting fortnightly, Youth Zoom continues, this is aimed at year 6 and older.  Please email the church office for the link if you haven’t got it.  All youth welcome.
  • Wednesday 09:30 a.m. – Morning Prayer on Zoom – we are returning to holding our Wednesday service on Zoom as Morning Prayer.  Please email the church office for the link if you haven’t got it.  All welcome.
  • **ALL NEW** Friday Prayer at 09:00 a.m. on Zoom (during lockdown) – a time for quiet, listening prayer, to hear what God might say to us as a church, and as individuals.  It’s a good place to practise hearing from God and having a go at saying it out loud, though there’s no pressure to.  This is for the 4 weeks of lockdown starting 6th Nov., as we place an emphasis on prayer during this time.  Same as above if you don’t have the link.

From 6th December we’re aiming to resume the following additional meetings:

  • Tuesday 09:00 a.m.Morning Prayer (1/2hr)
  • Wednesday 09:30 a.m.LIVE Holy Communion in church;  this is also live-streamed via our YouTube channel for those unable to attend physically.
  • Thursday 09:00 a.m.Morning Prayer (1/2hr).
  • Alternate Sundays 16:00 p.m. – LIVE Families@4 – a fortnightly family worship, in church;  numbers currently limited;  please see the Families@4 page to book.
  • Sunday 11:15 a.m.LIVE Holy Communion in church – numbers currently limited;  no need to book.  This is also live-streamed via our YouTube channel for those unable to attend physically.

Our regular (ex-Covid) format is as follows:

Sunday Services

Usually our format is as follows:

  • 8:00 a.m. Holy Communion
  • 8.45 a.m. Prayer in the Chapel
  • 9:30 a.m. Holy Communion (All age services including Holy Communion in August)
  • 9:30 a.m. All Age Service, first Sunday of every month

Come along on a Sunday morning at 9.30a.m. and you will find that our worship is very mixed.  In the main body of the church we sing both traditional hymns and modern songs as we seek to offer to God the worship of our hearts that He is worthy to receive.  In the many rooms surrounding the church, groups are held for children and young people.  Every Sunday service concludes with the whole church family coming together for our central act of worship, fulfilling our Lord’s commandment to remember Him in the breaking of bread.  Not everyone chooses to take communion, but everyone is invited to come forward to receive a blessing and a prayer.
