During the initial Covid Lockdown period we had to stop our regular physical meetings (but see ‘Sunday Services’, below), but we’re now delighted to announce that we’ve begun to open up and meet in church once again.  At present we’re holding the following meetings:

  • Sunday 09:30 a.m. – a ‘Premier’ prerecorded celebration published via our YouTube channel;  this remains available after it’s ‘Premier’ showing.
  • Sunday 10:30 a.m. – a coffee-time Zoom for those who wish to have a chat (please contact the church office for access details).
  • Sunday 11:15 a.m.LIVE Holy Communion in church – numbers currently limited;  no need to book.  This is also live-streamed via our YouTube channel for those unable to attend physically.
  • Alternate Sundays 16:00 p.m. – Families@4 – a fortnightly family worship, in church;  numbers currently limited;  please see the Families@4 page to book.
  • Tuesday 09:00 a.m.Morning Prayer (1/2hr)
  • Wednesday 09:30 a.m.LIVE Holy Communion in church;  this is also live-streamed via our YouTube channel for those unable to attend physically.
  • Thursday 09:00 a.m.Morning Prayer (1/2hr).

Our regular (ex-Covid) format is as follows:

Sunday Services

Usually our format is as follows:

  • 8:00 a.m. Holy Communion
  • 8.45 a.m. Prayer in the Chapel
  • 9:30 a.m. Holy Communion (All age services including Holy Communion in August)
  • 9:30 a.m. All Age Service, first Sunday of every month

Come along on a Sunday morning at 9.30a.m. and you will find that our worship is very mixed.  In the main body of the church we sing both traditional hymns and modern songs as we seek to offer to God the worship of our hearts that He is worthy to receive.  In the many rooms surrounding the church, groups are held for children and young people.  Every Sunday service concludes with the whole church family coming together for our central act of worship, fulfilling our Lord’s commandment to remember Him in the breaking of bread.  Not everyone chooses to take communion, but everyone is invited to come forward to receive a blessing and a prayer.
