Christmas Celebrations at The Good Shepherd
All are welcome to join us at the Good Shepherd this Christmas as we celebrate the birth of Jesus!
Our Christmas Fair will be held on Saturday 2nd December 12.30pm to 3.30pm.
We hope you will be able to come along to one of our Christmas services:
Carols by Candlelight 17th December at 6pm
We welcome you to come and start your Christmas Celebrations in the beautifully lit church, as we gather to tell the story of Emmanuel, and hear about the Shepherds, Mary and Joseph, Angels and of course sheep!
Carols by Starlight 20th December at 6pm
We welcome you to come and gather outside under the stars to tell the story of Christmas in songs and readings. Sup mulled wine and perhaps purchase a Christmas Burger.
Christmas Eve Family Nativity 24th December at 4pm
We welcome you to come along and celebrate the Nativity together, we have outfits to wear for children and some for adults. Last year the Sheep were particularly popular. If you would like to come dressed up in Nativity outfits you are most welcome and it will add to the atmosphere of stepping back in time to remember the story.
Christmas Eve Midnight Communion at 11.30pm
We welcome you to come along and bring in Christmas day with us.
Christmas Day at 8.30am
An opportunity for some stillness and quiet as we gather to welcome the Christchild with words of reflection.
Christmas Day at 10am
Christmas Day celebrations are always interesting at the Good Shepherd, who knows where this years one will take us.
