All Hallows Eve – Remembrance Day
During the first weeks of November, we hold particular space for remembering. Remembering those we have loved and see no more, those who have died through the many wars over the years. Remembering those who have been saints to us in our journey of faith, those who’s names are no longer said.
A quote I read recently has set me pondering ‘I mean they say you die twice, one time when you stop breathing and a second time, a bit later on, when somebody says your name for the last time’. Our Hope Remembered service gives the opportunity to hear the name of a loved one who has died be said aloud in public.
All Saints Day – Sunday November 2nd 8.3oam – 10am
Hope Remembered – Sunday November 2nd 4pm
Remembrance Sunday – Sunday 9th November 8.30am – 10am.
May those we remember, continue to rest in peace and rise in glory.
