Marking the season of Remembrance.
People carry great sadnesses throughout life and sometimes it can be hard to find the space to safely look at those sadnesses. In Jesus we carry a great hope of resurrection life, however life can still hold trauma, grief, loss and betrayal. This year at the Good Shepherd we are seeking to create a space of time to acknowledge the great sadnesses we carry, which will include All Hallows Eve and All Hallows Day, and Remembrance Sunday. People from our community have been busy making 100s of poppies to help us mark this years season of Remembrance.
Our display will be open to view from 31.10.2024-12.11.2024, when the church is open.
There will be home made poppies for sale. Any donations will be given to the Poppy Appeal.
